DESCRIPTION

This brochure cover demonstrates Ottinetti’s ability to translate a technical industrial product into a clear and compelling visual statement. The oversized “Meraklon” typography dominates the composition, transforming the product name into both message and structure, while the restrained subtitle—“polypropylene fibre”—anchors the work in its material context. Rather than relying on imagery, the design communicates through scale, proportion, and precision.

The interplay of flat violet and deep blue, combined with the subtle diagonal intervention, introduces controlled dynamism within an otherwise disciplined layout. This balance reflects the evolution of late modernist corporate design, where clarity and reduction were used to convey innovation and reliability. The work positions Montecatini’s synthetic fiber not as a commodity, but as a product of advanced industrial design and forward-looking technology.
